Compatible Patterns

From jugglingpatterns

Compatible Patterns are two different patterns with the same "interface", i.e. the same timing on incoming passes.

In most passing patterns, both jugglers have the same basic sequence of throws. "Compatible pattern" means you can combine two such patterns and the passes will fit together. This can e.g. be done if one passer is more advanced than the other - or to make practicing a difficulty pattern easier by giving one partner a much simpler part.

It is thus possible to combine a 7-club pattern with a 5-club pattern. The combinatin of both will use 6 clubs.
