Three Club Zaps - 504

Prerequisite

Pattern Description

A has two clubs, one in each hand, B has one club in the left hand. A throws diagonal zaps, B throws straight zaps.

Basically each juggler still just throws a zap to the free / empty hand of the other juggler. When this feels easy on its own, you can add a flip to the lone club you are holding after you threw the zap.

The flip is a full turn of the club without much (or any) height. Here you have time, but lateron, flips often need to be fast.

You can skip the flip, whenever the pattern becomes too unstable: Try to keep the pattern running without drops even if you can only do the occasional flip at the beginning.

 A1|1: zap flip wait
 B1|0: wait zap flip

Compagnion Pattern / Compatible Pattern

  • Lame Duck "zap zip zip" - this is still mostly throwing the zap. You fill the wait time zipping the remaining club to the other hand and back. Added bonus: this is compatible with the 504 pattern above. Either of you can do either pattern and it is even possible to switch between patterns while juggling.

Combination of the two patterns:
