The role of the two outside jugglers stays the same as in the two-person pattern: multiplex passes always go from the outside hand (furthest away from the other jugglers) towards the two inside hands (next to the other jugglers)
The pattern is often not started in sync, but A (or C) starts with four balls and a self,multiplex([pass,self]) and the middle juggler waits and reacts with self,multiplex([pass,self]),multiplex([pass,self]),catch,catch (the holds are perceived as catching).
